The designers at Miz Mooz understand today’s on-the-go women, who don't like using their arms to take a picture of themselves. Thanks to them, you can now use their footwear to snap a pic.

Whoa — Mexican Pointy Boots Are Now High Fashion

The Mexican boots that conquered men's fashion week in Paris last year are creating a buzz in the fashion industry. These boots, also known as botas picudas, originated from Matehuala, in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, and have been around since 2011, according to a Vice documentary on the now famous boots.

The boots rose to popularity Tribal music introduced by DJ Erick Rincon . Tribal music is a remix of “pre-Hispanic and African sounds with Cumbia basslines,” says Rincon. The boots are made out of hoses and screws, all handmade. The crazy height started when guys began competing against those in other villages to see who could make their shoes the highest.

The boots have since migrated to Dallas, where a large population of Mexicans from San Luis Potosi reside. According to the documentary, tribal music events are bigger in the United States than in Mexico. At the events, dance-offs in the boots are held between all-male dance groups who vie for monetary awards and bragging rights.

The shoes captured the attention of Japanese fashion house Comme des Garçons , which sent its own versions of the boots down the runway during its men’s spring/summer 2015 fashion show in Paris last year. The boots (pictured below) are currently retailing for $515.

The pointy boot craze is certainly a true reflection of Mexican identity. With the Mexican population steadily growing in the U.S., it's only a matter of time before we start seeing more Mexican fashion emerge.

How To Get A 'Mi Vida Loca' Inspired Two-Toned Eye

Sometimes you just have to color outside the lines.

That's how I feel about this non-matching, boldly colorful makeup tutorial by Kat Von D . She uses her very own (and now sold out) " Mi Vida Loca " palette— the name itself is cool enough to make us want to buy it, amirite?

Kat Von D was inspired to make this tutorial after seeing this beautiful multi-toned creation by Instagram user " juscallmetara ." Watch as she does her own take of that look using those colors that are just begging to be noticed.

She starts out soft with a nice nude and then takes it from 0 to 100 with a bold yellow named "fran" and a loud electric blue called "synth."

Steve Harvey Mistakenly Announces The Wrong Miss Universe

$

In what's probably the most dramatic f-ck up on live television this year, 2015 Miss Universe host Steve Harvey mistakenly declared first runner-up Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo as winner of the pageant.

In actuality, the $30,000 blue diamond and topaz crown belonged to Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach , and Steve Harvey misread the announcement. Yikes!

"I will take responsibility for this, it was my mistake," Harvey eventually told the crowd.

"I can show it to you right here, the first runner up is Colombia," he flashes the card to the shocked audience. "It's my mistake, still a great night," he says. "Please don't hold it against the ladies."

But before that happens, Miss Colombia appears joyful and teary-eyed, celebrating her victory, amid adoring fans waiving Colombian flags.

FOX

That suddenly comes to an end when Harvey interrupts her winning moment with his walk of shame.

"I have to apologize," he starts, as the crowd roars in applause not knowing what he was about to say next. "The first runner-up is Colombia," he says.

The camera moves to a stunned-looking Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

Then Harvey says to the audience — just before walking off the stage — "Miss Universe 2015 is Philippines."

AP

A crushed Miss Colombia stood dumbfounded at the head of the platform, still adorned in winning pageant regalia.

Soon, she was joined by Miss Philippines and fellow Colombiana Paulina Vega, Miss Universe 2014. Vega takes the crown and sash away from Miss Colombia, and then places it on Miss Philippines instead.

The Daily Mail reports, "the telecast then came to an abrupt stop, cutting without credits or allowing Miss Philippines to take her first walk as Miss Universe." How embarrassing!

Twitter

Since the blunder, Harvey tweeted another apology which was soon deleted . Is it because he spelled both PHILIPPINES and COLOMBIA wrong!?! Oops!

Deadspin

Below: The gracious Miss Colombia takes the situation in stride, saying that "everything happens for a reason."

In addition, the pageant organization issued a statement regarding the "human error," expressing their "sincerest apologies to Miss Universe Colombia and Miss Universe Philippines."

However, despite the epic disaster, Perez Hilton points out one thing that we can all be thankful for:

Bianca Del Rio And Her 'Rolodex Of Hate'

Bianca del Rio cares about a lot of things, but whether or not you like her is low on the list. The insult comic and drag queen is the Season 6 champion of RuPaul's Drag Race the first Latina to hold the title. In fact, Del Rio (who's known as "Roy Haylock" when not on stage, and " Roy Lady " to some of her greatest fans) almost stopped performing before auditioning for the drag reality show. Fresh off touring her stand-up show, " Rolodex of Hate ," Bianca sat down to chat with Flama about her journey, her critics, and her special brand of hatred.

FLAMA: I feel like you're the first queen to win RuPaul's Drag Race that hasn't immediately put out a music video.

BIANCA : I think in fairness, I was also the oldest that's come out of there, as far as winning. So I knew what I didn't want to do and that was definitely one of those things. And not because I have anything against it. It ain't me, and not the path I wanted to take. How do you stand in a pile of ten thousand queens, doing the same auto tuned bullshit, it doesn't work for me. It's definitely not what I wanted to present to the world. And so I just went a different route, something that I've done for a long time, which was comedy and hate.

FLAMA: You named your comedy special Rolodex of Hate . You're an insult comic, and I know people like Joan Rivers were an influence on you. What do you think keeps audiences coming back to insult comics?

BIANCA: Well, as long as it's funny. But it's also getting people to make fun of themselves. You can't just be rude, you have to make fun of yourself and make fun of everything. Everything to me is a joke. Nothing is off-limits.

No matter what it is, someone always has something to say thanks to social media. I lived in a time when none of this existed… so it doesn't affect me on that same level. I find it laughable when someone attacks me or feels the need to make a hateful comment.

FLAMA: Your mother is Cuban, your father is Honduran. Did that influence your sense of humor growing up at all?

BIANCA: For me, comedy comes from any truth that there is. There are lots of things that happened to me as a child, which is what I use in the shows as comedy, because I know it. If I can laugh at it, then it's fine because it's my life. I don't know if it actually was anything from my heritage, it was experiences that I had. And I was able to look at it in a funny way. Not necessarily anything specific to being Hispanic, but it came from obstacles.

FLAMA: So when was "Bianca" born?

BIANCA : Twenty years ago. In 1996/97…I was working in theatre and makeup and it led to doing drag. It evolved in doing a gig here and there at a bar, and then it sort of snowballed. Ten years in New Orleans, ten years in New York. And then I just re-located to Los Angeles. A wild ride. My intentions were to put a cap on it at forty, and be done — cause, okay, great, I've had a good ride. I did Drag Race at 37 and then it shifted all my plans. Cause after twenty years of being in a bar with drunk people, I definitely had my share of fun.

FLAMA: So what prompted the move from New Orleans to New York?

BIANCA: I had been there a while and the hurricane happened and I was in those moments in my life where I was thirty and ready for change. So I moved to New York and I was doing costumes, wigs and drag, but it was just on a larger scale. It was exciting, and something new. I was ready to do something. And it was a great run for the ten years that I was there. And now, will definitely go back to New York at some point, because I do love it.

FLAMA: When did you decided on "Rolodex of Hate" as a name for your comedy special — and what prompted you to take it on tour?

BIANCA: To be very vague about it, I had to give a title as soon as I could. Ru from Drag Race had asked me where my sense of humor comes from, and I said it's from my "rolodex of hate." Winning Drag Race, you're traveling a lot and doing a lot of gigs and events — pretty tight. My manager talked to me and said "I think it'd be great if you did a one person show, as a stand up special." I've always wanted to do that. It's a daunting task to write, I'm not a good sit down and write person. It's usually instinct or in the moment, so the process is overwhelming. Immediately, they booked the Gramercy Theatre in New York in November. And I was horrified because — 600,700 seats — people in New York are not going to pay to come see me when they could've seen me for free all these years. And then it sold out. It was like one night sold out, two nights sold out, three nights sold out.

FLAMA: I'm sure you're asked some crazy questions during the Q+A at the end. What are some of your favorites?

BIANCA: Oh god, let me think. Oh, "What did Ru's dick taste like?" That was really funny. I said, "I had to suck his dick because I couldn't eat his ass because Michelle Visage was in it"… that was one of those. It makes me laugh, they're clever enough to come up with something like this.

FLAMA: Did you grow up speaking Spanish at all? Do you have a favorite Spanish curse word, you might have heard growing up?

BIANCA: Not that much... my mother spoke English with us so "fuck" was just "fuck." In general, it was always funny coming out of her mouth because of her accent. It wasn't Spanish curse words but she Americanized it quite a bit. Which was interesting, but just having a mother say "fuck" on a normal basis is probably why I use it in real life all the time.

FLAMA: So where can we catch you next?

BIANCA: The Vimeo special ["Rolodex of Hate"] is available now, you can check it out, you can buy it, you can rent it, you can do whatever you want!

FLAMA: You're working on a movie as well, right? Will we be able to see you in "Hurricane Bianca" soon?

BIANCA: My friend is editing and getting it all together! We wrapped filming this summer. Margaret Cho's in it, Ru Paul's in it, Alyssa Edwards…Rachel Dratch. So all of that information is at HurricaneBianca.com.

Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán is not only making headlines in the news since his recent capture, he's also making headlines in the menswear industry.

Over the weekend, photos and a video have surfaced of El Chapo sporting some pretty loud button-downs. The menswear company responsible for making the shirt, Barabas Men (website is currently down), based out of Los Angeles has seen a recent spike in shirt sales according to TMZ .

TMZ

The store's manager tells TMZ sales "skyrocketed" when the pics came out and since then, the website has crashed from the surge in sales.

TMZ

The two shirts El Chapo was pictured in are selling for $128 dollars each.

TMZ

Both the paisley and striped tops look like discarded shirts left behind from MTV's Jersey Shore . If it wasn't for El Chapo, would anyone be caught dead in shirts like this? Are people buying the shirts for Halloween costumes, bragging rights or as a collector's item?! Since the website is down, you can check out Barabas Men's Instagram and Facebook accounts on when shirts are available, if you so fancy one.

Winter blues got you down? How's this for a warm, body-positive pick-me-up: Style blogger Gabi Gregg, better known as Gabi Fresh , released her fourth collection with Swimsuits 4 All called " Queen Of The Bikini " on January 12.

The fly, 14-piece plus size series comes in sizes 12 to 24, and up to an H cup , including fabulously flirty fabrics like mesh. Gregg worked closely with the swim brand, producing various looks that range from retro-inspired high-wasted bikinis to one-pieces. "They're all statement pieces and head-turners with cool details," she tells Refinery 29.

The fashion influencer has been a leader in the plus size fashion world since she launched her blog in 2008. She is also a major proponent of the size acceptance movement .

Ever since she posted a fierce selfie online in 2012 rocking a bikini that she re-named the" fatkini ," her popularity has soared even higher. Even 2015 Project Runway winner Ashley Tipton told Flama she's one of Gabi's many fans.

Proof of her style power is in the sales of her swim collections. In 2013, Gregg's swim line with Swimsuits 4 All literally broke the internet, selling out instantly , and pre-sale of "Queen Of The Bikini" began on January 9 in order to meet possible high demand.

Gregg credits social media and blogging as one of the reasons she's seen plus-size clothing improve recently. "I've had brands literally tell me, you're the reason we started making more stylish plus-size clothes, " Gregg says .

Photographer Dresses Up Penises For Fashionable Dick Pics

Like many single women out there, photographer Soraya Doolbaz says she and her friends were getting their fair share of (unsolicited?) dick pics. Fast forward a few years later and those gnarly nuts have inspired her — now she's a professional dick pic photographer. Yep, that profession is now a reality.

She noticed some of the photos were better quality than others and pondered, "What if I took them with a professional camera?" The rest is now dickstory... err, history. A trip to Walmart and some doll clothes later, Soraya was well on her way to giving penises a personality. I mean, if it's attention they want – it's attention they'll get.

Soraya isn't going to take just any old dick pic. She's going to dress them up nice and pretty. Some are themed, some are creative, and some are just downright funny. She has been invited to show her work in galleries, with some of her prints selling for up to $10,000 a piece.

The male models who volunteer for a penis portrait session typically bring their spouses or significant others with them, who act as excellent "fluffers" — you know, making sure the man's little buddy is up for the photo shoot (literally).

So next time you send or receive a dick pic, take a moment to look past the protagonist and analyze the aesthetics of it. Did this dude take the time to make the pic look good or did he just snap and send? Soraya has set the bar really high for candids of your penis. Shoot wisely, shoot creatively and remember – it's all about the lighting and the angle. You can always "dress it up" later."

Often, my dad (the self educated Cholo from East Stockton Califas) would remind me that "Globalization successfully hooked Cholas with three items: Tide, Makeup, and Coca Cola." Of course this didn't make much sense as a 6-year-old, but as an adult, I realize not only was my dad right, but there is much more to add to the list that include a mix of historical remnants.

Which of the following 10 things changed the game on your steez?

Makeup (i.e. brown wine Wet n Wild lipstick)

Drugstore makeup fare is usually piled atop a chola's dresser or vanity. Mascara, black kohl eyeliner, red lipstick, brown wine lip-liner; there are so many styles to create and so many ways to paint those eyebrows on.

Dickies and Ben Davis Pants

Nothing screams Chicana like the image of a homegirl ironing the sharpest crease in her formidable attire. Influenced by both military and prison industrial complex fashions , these "workwear" pants are sturdy, and stain repellant.

Dickies Girl

Wearing A Black Bra Under A White Shirt

Once considered a fashion faux pas and completely déclassé, the black bra under a white shirt color top has experienced its moments as low fashion and high fashion (think: Carrie Bradshaw and those damn pink day glow bras).

The Gloss

Resting Bitch Face

While the real pioneer of "resting bitch face" will always be your abuela ; cholas have channeled and mastered this fine art that has the added benefit of preventing wrinkle lines and saving lot of botox money. With ever the slightest hint of "fuchi face," a good chola will leave no inclination as to whether she is happy, sad, or content.

Mi Vida Loca

Nail Art

Forget those Instagram tutorials you always fail at. While the true artisans are the nail technicians themselves, Cholas have always maintained a unique vision on nail fashion. Pointy tips, pieced nails, loteria decals? Yep, you name it, Cholas have "nailed" it, and Gwen Stefani tried to emulate it.

Big Earrings

Often the size of door knockers, big earrings are the trimming to the Chola tree. Slim hoops, bamboo style, chandeliers; it takes a an exact amount of precision to roll your neck in distaste and get that fabulous earring tousle.

Aqua Net

The true "set it and forget it." George Lopez once joked that a Chola would spray on Aqua Net all the time, even just to answer the phone. Combined with a beer can hair roller, Aqua Net helps a chola defy all of Newton's theories.

Giving "0" Fucks

"Zen and the Art of Zero Fucks" would be the name of the Chola biblical tome. Either 0 fucks for getting down and dirty, to just abstaining from drama and chillin' in the back. From Buddha style collectiveness to straight thuggery, giving "0" fucks can spell uh-oh.

Cursive Script and Old English

Cholas just don't let their man know they love him just by letting him keep his chonis at her place. A little ink can go a long way in Cholas' love languages. The lettering choices are pretty limited; loopy cursive or old english. Old English, also known as Blackletter isn't a Chicano phenomenon, its cultural usages dates back to early colonized Mexico .

Bandanas

You can wear or clean the house with it, this trustee steed of a fashion accessory has graced atop many a Chola heads. The tied up bandana over a Chola style pompadour started during the Rosie the Riveter era and has become another treasured fashion item that can also serve to polish the chrome on your low-low.
